Thank You's - Page 1

"The following letters, cards, and notes are from some of our families that we have served recently. We have posted some of them to show those of you who are looking at possible thoughts of using our services in any of our locations... this may relieve your curiosity, worries etc. Plus, we are proud of our staff when they do receive such an honor from families that we know our staff has helped ease a small bit of pain, during their loss. We "Thank You" for taking the time to read these, and for coming to our website."

Ms. Allison Syphus,

Words alone can not tell you or any others who have lost a loved one just how much love and understanding you gave us at the passing of my Father Julio P. Hernandez on Dec. 18, 2005.

Allison -- it was in July of 2004 that we first contacted your establishment and spoke with Terry, And made arrangements for my mother Rosie Hernandez's Passing. He was so loving and compassionate as you were, he made us feel so comfortable. Many thanks to Terry.

Allison I know the work you provide has to take a bit out of you, after all you are human. I retired after 17 years of law enforcement and our work takes a bit of our lives too. You made our family feel so at home the day my cousins Libby, Lydia, Lulu, and Valerie sat down and discussed or plans for my Father. We all felt we could of stayed there and talked to you for hours and hours, I want to let you know that this is very comforting to anyone in our position. If I could give you and the staff there at the Chapel Of Remembrance in Arcadia the World, I WOULD! Thank you Allison, Sergio, Terry and the whole staff May God Bless all of you.

Sincerly,
Jerry Hernandez

FROM THE DESK OF
THE MARINO FAMILY

To Terry Harmon and The Entire Emmerson-Bartlett Redlands Staff,

On behalf of myself, Lawrence J. Marino, (Larry), and my entire family, including my wife Mary, my son Alex, my daughter Raechel, and my sisters, Marilyn Balaban, and Donna J. Marino, brother-in-law Richard Balaban, and my mom, Anne Marino, niece and nephew, Lorin and Jason Balaban, we want to thank all of you. When my Dad, Calogero Marino passed away on Sept. 9, 2005 at Braswell’s Chateau Villa’s in Redlands, your staff in Redlands, Ca. handled everything perfectly, if I may say.

That was, to say the least, a very trying time, for me and my family.

Unbelievably on Sept. 8, 2005, I went and visited Emmerson-Bartlett in Redlands, to inquire about my Dad, Cal’s future funeral services, which were not really in the near future, but I thought I may inquire anyway.

That day I was met by Glenn Stalter and we sat and had a casual conversation. Glenn asked me many questions about my Dad, his personality, and his past. It was a good chat. Glenn assured me that I was doing the right thing by looking into the services before any mishap had occurred. I felt weary but went on. We then went on to pick out caskets, packages, and prices. I felt good about looking into this, but too premature I felt. I went home. The very next day, as I said before, unbelievably, and very unfortunately my Dad passed away that morning. I was in shock!

I made the very sad phone calls to my family, and then to Glenn. Glenn paused, then answered all my questions and assured me that everything would be handled. I was relieved to say the least.

I met with Christian Quintana next a few days before the Services. Again I was assured that all our needs would be fulfilled. He sat with me first, put business aside, and really seemed concerned about our wishes, our state of mind, and the need for a successful goodbye for my Dad. I loved that!

I then confidently assured my wife Mary, my mom, kids, siblings, and friends that all was handled and they not need worry about a thing. Christian even helped handle my Dads VA Benefit Agreement on a cemetery, 9-gun salute, taps, and full service at the National Cemetery in Riverside. That made the day. My Dad, a decorated Vet for WW2, was proud.

Thank You Christian.

Michael Stock, at the actual Service at your Chapel, made sure that Frank Sinatra was playing, and coffee was out for the attendees. Another great job.

Edward Reeger helped look things up over the phone when I was in dire need, and helped with faxing things to me as well. Everyone always was there when you needed them. We appreciate that.

We Thank All of You!

If I missed anyone, I am so sorry! The point is You all make up what
Emmerson-Bartlett
really is!

And that’s all what really counts!
Again, My family and I commend you on a job “well done”.
My only hope is that Dad, Cal Marino, lives on in your hearts.

Sincerely,
The Marino’s
